How it all began

Our Love Story

Every love story is beautiful, but ours is our favorite. From a chance meeting to building a life together, here's the tale of how two hearts became one.

January 2023

The First Hello

We met at a part-time shift as stewards for the Chinese New Year's parade. Deciding to pair up together, we quickly realised we made the right choice as the conversation and laughter was flowing throughout the whole shift. Neither of us knew then that this was the beginning of forever.

February 2023

Our First Date

Two weeks after we met, it was Valentine's day. Abi had planned a romantic evening out to Bella Italia. I got the pizza, he got the pasta, and we shared not only our meals, but our interests, childhood memories and thoughts about the future.

July 2025

The Proposal

On a perfect summer afternoon at Formby Beach, in the presence of close friends, the question was asked and answered with an enthusiastic "Yes!" Surrounded by love and the promise of forever, we began planning the next chapter of our story.

Dress Code

We'd love guests to lean into soft, natural tones for the day — gentle neutrals and muted pastels photograph beautifully and will complement our wedding palette perfectly.

Linen fabrics, flowy silhouettes and relaxed tailoring are also warmly encouraged.

Very bright colours, black, heavy patterns, or super shiny materials can stand out in photos, so keeping things simple and relaxed will help everything flow beautifully.

For the Gents

Soft tailoring works perfectly — think light or mid-tone suits, relaxed shirts, linen or cotton fabrics. Ties and jackets are completely optional; comfort and ease are encouraged.
